Battlefront 2 Map Rotation
The release for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is fast approaching for PC, PS4 and Xbox One this fall. The game features a bunch of new modes that weren't present in the original 2015 release, and EA. DICE changed the Map Rotation for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 to expand the variety of environments the players see on regular basis. Some of the less rotated and played maps are moved up to the front of the queue. If your favorite mode is Arcade, don’t forget to check out the recently added Ansel feature.
I don’t see why I have to sit through ages of gameplay just so I can play my favourite maps on modes like Galactic Assault and Starfighter Assault. I just received the update for The Last Jedi and have been so excited to play the new map Crait, only to find myself playing Kashyyk twice, Death Star II, and Naboo, and I have just left the game after finding myself in the Kashyyk loading screen once again. You did it in the first Battlefront in 2015, why isn’t it in this one? I honestly am only online right now just to experience Crait and I haven’t even seen it yet. I have been annoyed at this since the games release and I’m astonished you haven’t even added yet. Please just listen to your fans and do what we ask so we may get our money’s worth?
Battlefront 2 Map Rotation Bespin
Today we’ve done a server-side only update for Star Wars Battlefront II, which allows us to turn on team balancing between rounds again. Also, even though we know you really like the Kashyyyk map, we have significantly improved the variation of your starting map.— Joakim Bodin (@jbripley)Recently the Battlefront 2 community has encountered situations where maps like Kashyyyk (jokingly referred to in Bodin's tweet) have a significantly higher percentage of getting drawn during a multiplayer map. New maps like tie-in map of Crait are seemingly more difficult to draw during a random map selection. The subreddit community reacted positively to Bodin's announcement. When asked by community members if the update has made a difference, user 'ColonelChestbridge1' answered, 'Map rotation is definitely better now. Team balancing is too but steamrolls still happen.'

The 'steamrolls' are in reference to the other half of Bodin's announcement where he also explained that the update will be turning team balancing between rounds. This is meant to shuffle online teams so that one winning team doesn't keep dominating multiplayer matches. The reaction to the multiplayer shuffling has been a bit more muted, and the feature was previous shut-off during the pre-order launch period of Star Wars Battlefront 2.Star Wars Battlefront 2 recently released a slate of The Last Jedi-themed content as part of the first wave of post-launch content. No word yet on season 2 content so far, but we'll keep you posted with any new developments. In the meantime, check out our for all the latest info.
