Create a new MySQL database called dayzepoch. Execute the epoch.sql file on the dayzepoch database. Execute addrecommendedmysqlevents.sql on the dayzepoch database. Make sure the MySQL event scheduler is turned on. Both client and server files and extract to the root Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead folder.

Yeah I tried out DayZ Standalone again after I started hearing reports that 'all had been fixed' and it was now 'awesome'.those reports were greatly exaggerated.It was still what I remembered, and stairs are still your most leathal adversaryI then did exactly what Warlohn mentioned - went back to DayZ mod, and it was nice for a while for the nostalgia, but the graphics and the survival aspect felt too dated now for me - survival games have moved on a bit since the awesomness that was DayZ A2 mod (the game responsible for me getting back into gaming after 10 years absence!).
