I'm so sad I missed this post!!! I've seen everything on that list except 7, 4 and 1.I actually tired to re-watch 'marimar' because I loved it as a kid but I couldn't finish re-watching it in the end because now as an adult, I find it actually terrible. The intro still slays though.Here's 4 my favorite novelas:1. Pasion de Gavilanes (here's a preview with english subtitles)To me, this will forever be the greatest telenovela of all time. Everything was perfect. The setting, dialogue, plot, acting, soundtrack and chemistry between ALL of the couples.

They were everything in the 2nd half of the novela. Juana la virgen (preview - no eng sub)This was just such a cute telenovela to me. For some it might be a bit boring because the romance is a bit slow (mind you though that the male protagonist is married to someone else and the female protagonist is 17 years old in the beginning), and the story line may weird out some people (she's pregnant with his baby and only because she was accidentally artificially inseminated with his sperm) but I loved how everything built up. If you're currently watching the 'Jane the virgin', which is based on Juana la Virgen, then you get a feel of how this novela is like.3. La Baby Sister (yes, sister, not sitter.) (Intro - no subs)Adultery is not a new story line in telenovelas, but 'la baby sister' is one of the more memorable ones to me. I think a big part of why I really liked this novela was because of Paola Rey because hello, she's Paola Rey. I mean, it's kind of your typical 'once happy, husband and wife's marriage crumbles and husband relies on beautiful babysitter to help with his kids and then romance ensues' kind of story but Victor and Paola's chemistry were really great and the side characters were hilarious.4.

Sin Tetas (Senos) no Hay Paraiso (Trailer with eng subs)One of those stories that exploded and everybody wanted to do their own version of it. The one in the trailer is the 1st telenovela to do it. There's a more popular version that aired on Telemundo but changed to 'Sin Senos'. The story of a young girl growing up poor in Colombia who decides she wanted to do what her friends do, which is entertain and sleep with men in the drugs business to quickly gain money.

'Sin Senos' is actually my favorite version, but 'Sin Tetas' is more shorter and more gritty. Either one you watch, you get a great but sad story.There are way more telenovelas that I've liked and enjoyed but I'll just list these four.
